The Australian operations of international consulting firm Klohn Crippen Berger began in Brisbane in 1993. They are renowned for their services to the engineering and geosciences sectors, having worked on some of the largest resource sector projects in the country.

The organisation has handled waste management services for water supplies and mines across Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Mongolia.

To expand and enhance its organisation in the years to come, Klohn understands that it must foster its talent and provide its employees with a place to develop.

Staff are exposed to mentoring, leadership development, negotiation skills and techniques, how to foster client relationships and a range of other opportunities – the organisation boasts itself as a place of constant learning.

Klohn is closely involved with Movember, Fit February 10,000 steps challenge, “R U OK?” and a range of other good causes. 85% of employees receive pay increases each year – these raises are based on performing above and beyond what is asked of them.

Klohn Crippen Berger has been recognised as an Employer of Choice in The Australian Business Awards 2015.

“We are honoured to receive The Australian Business Award for Employer of Choice. An on-going commitment to best practices is key to our success,” commented Chris Dickinson, Vice President, Australasia, Klohn Crippen Berger.

“The cyclical nature of the resource sector is a challenging one and we have worked with many talented professionals over the years who have risen to challenge.

“I would like to thank all our staff, past and present, for your contribution to the success of the company.” he said.
