The Cambridge Hotel Sydney is a boutique AAA rated 4-star hotel located in the heart of Surry Hills. The hotel opened in 1973 and today offers a wide range of accommodation consisting of 149 guest rooms and suites over 14 floors and three different star rated sections.

As an ABA100 Winner for Service Excellence in The Australian Business Awards 2014, The Cambridge Hotel’s commitment to Service Excellence is reflected through the training and development of human resources staff, as well as the collection, implementation and further analysis of guest feedback. All staff are offered a complimentary stay to experience the Cambridge Hotel from a guest’s perspective and gain a clearer picture of the product and additional training and education through Franklin Scholar and METG.

Opportunities for career development are harnessed through initiatives such the Management Exchange Training program with their sister hotels in Asia. The program acts as an incentive to motivate staff and management to receive the most positive guest feedback. The collection of internal, external and online feedback enables thorough analysis and implementation of ideas and suggestions.

Cambridge Hotel also hosts focus groups, whereby the most loyal returning guests are invited back to the hotel for a complimentary stay and an informal meeting to discuss possible improvements.
