For the past 30 years Energetics has been the Australian leader behind greenhouse gas emission management for government and businesses. The energy and carbon consultancy offers a range of services to assist organisations in reducing its carbon footprint, providing their services to over half of Australia’s top ASX companies.
Regardless of its large customer base, Energetics is a small business and lacks the large advertisement and marketing budgets that its competitors have access to. With a marketing team of just two members, a lot was achieved when it was essential that the organisation move quickly to raise awareness and promote its services. Energetics had to dissect the then Coalition Direct Action scheme, and provide market education to clients and the media in a time of political confusion. Promoted through a section on Energetics website, “The Direct Action Info Centre”, and national briefings undertaken in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, the energy advisory was able to inform its clients in minute detail about what was going to happen with the Coalitions Direct Action.
Dealing with the reality of a new political landscape, Energetics was able to maintain a foothold in the area and educate a large base of potential clients through a successful marketing plan. This passion for what they do has seen Energetics being recognised as an ABA100 Winner for Marketing Excellence in The Australian Business Awards 2015.
